When you're a jean lover like myself, having a few pairs of boyfriend jeans in the arsenal are key. They are perfect for those days you want to to wear jeans but also want something a little less restrictive than a skinny or a fitted pair. They are perfect for the weekends as you can wear them during the day to run errands and then in the evening for date night.

So many designers and brands are making boyfriend style jeans that finding a pair that you like shouldn't be hard. Sure, it might take a some time to find the right pair but once you'll do, you'll love them. When boyfriend jeans first came out, they legitimately were baggier and oversized that you needed to size down if you wanted that slimmer boyfriend jean look. However, nowadays many brands have slimfit boyfriend jean that still give you that casual look but with a slimmer leg, oftentimes referred to as the 'girlfriend' jean.  Don't be afraid to play around with sizing as well. My legit boyfriend jeans meaning ones that are not deemed 'slim' or 'girlfriend' I bought in a size down. Another alternative to buying jeans categorized as boyfriends jeans is to size up in your favorite pair of skinny, fitted, or relaxed jeans.
