We've been having a semi-warm last few weeks here in DC so I took full advantage of it by ditching the coat and going with minimal layers. While I'm ready to embrace Spring with open arms I'm not ready to give up boot weather. Specifically, I'm not ready to give up wearing these ankle boots just yet. Afterall I only just got them a few months ago. I feel like I haven't worn them enough.

I also took the warmer temps as an opportunity to break out my long duster vest that I wear a lot (like here, here, and here) #noshame. It's such an easy item to help pull a look together. Mine is a few years old but I've linked some similar options below like this one that is under $25 and also comes in olive green.

While everything in this look (minus the boots) are all oldies in my closet, they are essentially part of my go-to items. I'm all about no fuss style and easy to put together outfits. And this look is both of those things combined. If I'm feeling my outfit is looking a bit blah (that's real fashion terminology right there haha) I grab one of my neck scarves/bandanas. I love that they add a bit of edge to an outfit and you know I'm all about those cool girl vibes whether I'm actual cool or not.

Happy Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by.
