Soft in Chambray

Well, summer decided to legitimately arrive this week especially in terms of the humidity. It's been rather sticky this week and no amount of deodorant is going to help with sweat. Luckily, since I tend to always be cold the extreme heat feels kinda nice...for about five minutes. LOL In any case though, I'm still always bringing along some type of cover up and during the summer, chambray is a great option. First, it goes with everything and second, it's lightweight and super comfortable. The key to finding the holy grail chambray top is to seek out quality. I have a chambray shirt similar to this that I bought for fairly cheap and I hate it. It's course and stiff. It should be soft and easy to wear.

You want to be able to wear it on it's own or layered without it feeling overly fussy.  If there is one thing I can't stand it's fussy clothes. If I have to fidget with a piece of my outfit all day, then all I will remember about it when I go to wear it again is how much it bothered me. Anyone else like that? Also, these shorts are pretty old, way before my OD green obsession kicked in and they fit right into my current wardrobe.
