Concealed Carry Purse

Daily Snaps | June 9, 2021

When I lived in DC I wasn’t legally allowed to purse carry and now that I’m in Texas it’s finally an option.

While purse carry isn’t my preferred method, I do like having it as an option as there have been certain outfits where on-body carry just wasn’t possible. I also know many women prefer to purse carry and that’s totally okay.

It’s all about finding a method of carry that works for your lifestyle and you train for your method of carry.

I’ve finally found a concealed carry purse that fits my style.

The quality of this @kimberlyhandbag is 💯 it mirrors my high-end designer bags. This is the “Sparrow” and it has a dedicated inner zip pocket that you can add a custom holster. I love that I can choose to carry it on my arm or use the longer shoulder strap to carry it on my shoulder or crossbody.

A few tips to keep in mind when you decide to purse carry:
* Use a purse designed for concealed carry as these have a dedicated compartment for your firearm.
* Make sure you are incorporating your purse into your training. Having to go into your bag to access your firearm will add extra time to your draw.
* You never want to leave your bag unattended as you want to make sure that you are in control of your purse at all times.

If you don’t know @kimberlyhandbag go check her out, she’s a small women-owned business designing these gorgeous bags in Texas.
