Do You Practice Your Draw?

Daily Snaps | March 30, 2021

Do you practice your draw in the different outfits you wear?

There isn’t just one way to clear a shirt. Ladies, you know our shirts come in a variety of styles. And each style may require you to make adjustments in how you clear your shirt in order to draw.

This sweater is a great example of that. My typical method of clearing my top wouldn’t work so I adjusted and it still didn’t work. This cape style sweater is split on the sides, any attempt to clear it upwards didn’t work because the tails kept getting caught and in the way of trying to access my gun.

I found a method that works for this style shirt that allows for access.

This is why practicing your draw is so important. You want to make sure you’re able to access your firearm if you should need it.

I always take some time when I’m playing dress up in my closet to practice dry drawing. It’s a crucial part of this lifestyle.
