A Chino Kind of Girl

Can we just take a quick moment to celebrate that I'm finally back in heels, albeit, easing my way in with wedges but it's a start. Who would've ever thought a bee sting on the foot could cause such a headache?! There are worse things in life obviously but this was just a major annoyance. I'm also happy to be back in these chino's I got last year. They are so comfy and are a nice alternative to wearing jeans especially as the temps start to rise.

I have them in a charcoal color as well but they now have them in a few fresh colors for spring. Personally, my favorite is this fresh sage green color. These chino's are so easy to wear and can easily be swapped in place of your favorite denim this summer. They'll look super cute with sandals, white casual weekend sneakers, or a summer wedge. This look can easily transition to a laid-back summer weekend look by wearing a white tank and your favorite pair of sandals.

So I feel I want to share this little story...the husband and I were in Target when I had this on and after going our separate ways he found his way back to me and said, "I couldn't find you because I wasn't looking for someone wearing green pants and a white top. I was looking for someone wearing a black shirt and jeans." LOL I guess I need to stop being so predictable and it's good to change things up a bit when it comes to your wardrobe. Gotta keep things fresh!
