Springtime Florals

Well I thought Spring might've sprung but it quickly receded back into Winter with cold temps and torrential downpours. I thought it was hailing that's how hard it was raining. But maybe that's a real sign of Spring, I mean don't they say April showers bring May flowers? Well, I'm not waiting for May and I took full advantage of the Spring weather to break out this old but goody floral bomber jacket. I've had this for years and it's such a great Springtime layering piece to have. While it's feminine with it's floral print and silk material, it also has a little bit of edge mixed in with the faux leather sleeves. It's really a perfect mix of textures and styles.

A quick note about these jeans, they are a DIY pair from a couple years back. I found a pair at Nordstrom Rack and decided to cut the hem and slit the knee. I had seen a similar pair so I decided that I would make these on my own. I know how popular distressed jeans are and I think you know how much I love all my pairs so taking scissors to an inexpensive pair is a great way to get the look for less.
