Another day in my uniform but this time paired with an oxblood leather jacket. When I stumbled upon this jacket a few years ago, I was immediately in love. I was really searching for a black leather jacket and still am (all mine are faux leather). However, I couldn't resist this color. I'm not a huge fan of color but oxblood and those deep burgundy reds get me every time. It's beautiful. I love wearing it during those fall/winter days when it's not freezing out.
It's one of those pieces in my closet that I can just stare at. I love it so much.
A tip for buying and wearing leather jackets...unless you are looking for an oversized look, select a size that fits you a little snug. Real leather over time will stretch and break in to become more supple and comfortable. I wear this one at home over a thick sweatshirt to help stretch and break it on. There really is nothing better than a broken in leather jacket. Comfortable, chic, and little badass.
Have a great day. Thanks so much for reading.
