Style Me Concealed | No. 01

I'm very excited to welcome you to the very first post in my new Style Me Concealed series. When I first launched Style Me Tactical their were many areas I wanted to cover. First and foremost, one of the driving factors of starting SMT is my Girl Meets Gun series. I wanted a place to document my experiences of being a first time female shooter and potential gun owner. Additionally, I wanted to show that women could be self-reliant and still be fashionable. Style Me Concealed has been on the SMT plan from the beginning and I'm so happy that it's finally live. My goal with this series is to show  you that as a woman you don't have to risk your style in order to conceal carry. I'll be sharing new outfits along with some older favorites reworked for concealed carry.

This outfit is a very typical night out look for me...skinny jeans, heels, casual top, and a bag. When it comes to button front tops I'm always for the one tuck, well really in all my tops and even tees. It gives a structured shirt a more casual vibe. It also makes your weapon easily concealable. I chose a belt that I currently had in my closet as it was thick enough for the holster to clip to and secure enough for me to draw from.
