Moving right along through April and the bus doesn't seem to be slowing down. Sometimes I wish I could just press the pause button on life and time to play catch up but that's not how life works. So I'll be trekking right along, tackling my to-do list one item at a time. That's all we can do, right?! For this month, I've got some tried and true favorites along with some new ones. If you've used any of these, I'd love to know your thoughts.
External Charger: I'm not one that constantly needs to charge my phone but there are times when getting to an outlet isn't possible for an entire day. I don't like to let my battery level on my phone get to below 30% because you never know when you might need it for an emergency. For less than $20 this juices up my phone pretty fast and I can get one to two full charges using it. I also like that's it's the same size as my phone so I can easily slip them both in my back pocket.
StealthGear Ventore OWB Flex Holster: This is my first OWB (outside the waistband) holster and so far I love it. I used it during three days of NRA Carry Guard training. It was comfortable and super easy to draw from and reholster with. Plus, the grey camo is pretty awesome, don't you think?!
Nudestick Clean-Up Pencil: I was really skeptical about this at first especially reading the mixed reviews but so far I'm not having any issues. It's a portable make-up remover pencil that is supposed to "melt all makeup mistakes with a swipe and wipe." No need for soap or water, just a little swipe of the pencil and then wipe it with a q-tip or tissue and you are good to go. What I love about this is that it's perfect for cleaning up those mascara marks - you know when you're applying mascara and then you end up sneezing before it's dries. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. LOL. I also like it for fixing my little eyeliner goofs especially when I don't get that eyeliner wing just right.
Konjac Cleansing Sponge: I raved about this and how to use it last month so only fitting I would add it as a monthly favorite. It really is a lifelong favorite. I still haven't figured out the best way to travel with it but would love too. It's such a simple and effective cleansing tool for gently exfoliating your skin.
Trader Joe's Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend: If you don't know about this seasoning, you are missing out. I mean seriously, it's such a food game changer. It's everything you love about everything bagels without the gluten. LOL. I put this on all of my egg dishes, avocados, and basically everything I eat for breakfast. The only thing I've noticed about this seasoning is that when I get towards the bottom it tends to have a lot more of the sea salt and less of the other seasoning. My little fix for this is when I get a new jar, add some of the new jar to the old jar and shake it up. Have you tried this seasoning? Do you love it?
