Loving the Cardigan

Okay it’s official, I need to be cut-off…probably from coffee but you’d have to pry it from my cold dead hands. But seriously…from cardigans. I kind of feel like a drug addict lately when it comes to them. I can’t stop buying them. I’ve probably bought four in the last month, six in the last three. That’s bit excessive but in my defense I’m always cold so it’s not like I won’t wear them. Sounds like an addict making excuses; “just one more.” I think it’s the combination of the season changing, finding some really good deals, and loving how they add a little something extra to my outfit. Maybe that something is color because they haven’t all been black or grey.

I love jewel tone colors for fall. The burgundies are really a favorite of mine. I love it on my lips, nails, and clothes. The color is so rich, pretty, and really gets you into the spirit of the season, in my opinion. If you haven’t checked out Old Navy’s cardigan collection, you are missing out. Three of the four I’ve recently bought are from there including the one I’m wearing. In terms of quality, this specific one isn’t as thick as the other two but it doesn’t feel cheap. It’s definitely thicker and softer than this BP. cardigan I was eyeing at Nordstrom. That’s usually my go-to for inexpensive basics but I wasn’t impressed with their selection. It was less than $30 (on sale) so you can set your expectations based on that. I’ve been wearing it pretty frequently and it hasn’t started to pill…yet. Oh and it has pockets which are key for a little extra coziness.
