I’m kind of shocked at myself that I’ve waited so long to invest in a high quality, warm, and over-sized cashmere scarf. Maybe waiting isn’t the correct word; because I was never waiting for anything. I just never gave it a thought. I have plenty of scarves but none come close to how warm this one is. I don’t know about you but in the fall and winter, I can’t be without a scarf. I need my neck to be covered and warm. If my neck is exposed without the comfort of a scarf, I can get a little cranky. And that’s not good for anyone.
I’m huge fan of scarves as accessories. You can find them in so many cute prints and fabrics. I found this one during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last July. I remember being hesitant about buying it but I had seen similar styles on different women and loved how they looked so I figured I’d give it a try. Plus, the price was right. Once the temps started dropping, I pulled this scarf out and haven’t looked back.
It’s so warm and with it being over-sized it feels like you are being hugged by coziness. Who doesn’t like that?! It was a lifesaver back in November when I wore it in New York. I thought it might feel too bulky because in the winter I tend to feel a bit suffocated by the layers and heavy coats but it doesn’t. It’s not heavy which is plus. And it’s perfect layered with my jackets and coats but I think I love it layered over something simple like this black sweater. It lets the scarf speak for itself.
