Concealed Carry in Summer Shorts

Dressing in the summer can sometimes present a little bit of a challenge when you also want to carry concealed. We tend to opt for less clothes, lightweight fabrics, and light colored clothing items. So having the right holster helps to make dressing easier. These shorts are an elastic waist which makes them super comfortable but there is no option for a belt. Additionally, the elastic waist and lightweight material of the shorts would never be able to withstand the weight of a gun securely and without any sagging. This is when a belly band type of holster comes into play. The nude color of the Can Can Concealment holster won't show through under the white shorts and the ability to wear it securely around my waist means that I can still carry in comfort.

One of the features I love about this holster are the additional slip pockets that can be used to carry spare mags or other EDC type items. It's perfect to hold my every day carry knife so it's just as easily accessible as my G43. Having options when it comes to holsters will ensure that you can still carry and look cute even in the summer. Don't be restricted to only using one style holster and experiment with different holster types to find what works for you and your wardrobe.
