It’s that time of year again for all the holiday parties and get togethers. It’s one the rare times of year that you’ll find me in sequins, velvet, and anything else that makes me feel festive and puts me into the holiday spirit. I really love jewel tones this time of year especially in emerald and ruby colored. While they are still in the red and green Christmas color family, they aren’t in your face loud. The colors are deep, rich, and very classy for a holiday party. And let’s face it, the standard red and green doesn’t always complement everyone’s style or skin tone.
Even during this time of year when our clothing options don’t automatically lend themselves to be very concealed carry friendly (i.e., belt loops) it doesn’t mean you can’t still wear what you originally had in mind. This holster with the fabriclip doesn’t require a belt so it’s a great option for pants. It wouldn’t be my first choice for use with a skirt. That’s because most skirts aren’t fitted enough around the waist to help provide the added hold needed to accommodate the weight of the firearm. I think it would sag too much. However, try it with one of your skirts and see if it works. With these specific pants being high-rise, it makes it that much easier to concealment. You could opt to wear a fitted tank underneath this camisole or whatever top you choose if you had additional printing concerns but between the rise of the pants, the fit of the camisole, and the blazer, there are plenty of layers to help distract the eye without looking bulky.
As always, stay safe & be vigilant during the holiday season and refrain from alcohol if you choose to carry.
