Concealed Carry Outfit | Summer Shorts

It's officially my first summer attempting this concealed carry lifestyle. While I haven't stumbled onto too many challenges, I'm starting to realize that I need to be open to make adjustments with my carrying style in order to match my summer looks. It's been rather simple up until now but I'm starting to introduce shorts and summer dresses. I've been grabbing my nude Can Can Concealment Hip Hugger to pair with shorts and it's working out well. I'm not a big fan of wearing a bulkier belt in the summer so the belly band style holster is a great option.

It allows for appendix or small of the back carry positions and while my preferred method of carry is appendix, I'm finding with shorts that carrying in the small of my back is providing a bit more versatility. It's important to play around with the carry positions that you are comfortable with and that allow you to conceal comfortably. You might find that you need to make these types of adjustments but you shouldn't be opposed to them since they will give you more options with your wardrobe. However, just be sure that you are practicing and training with the various positions you carry so that when you do change it up you are able to properly draw and defend yourself.
