Concealed Carry Outfit | Glock 43 + Spare Mag

I'm definitely not finding it difficult to concealed carry during the cooler months. I know everyone says that concealing during the winter is the easiest because you can have all of the bulky clothing items and layers without looking like you're hiding something. My favorite type of layering piece for everyday style, in addition to concealed carry style, are waterfall sweaters/jackets. The flowing fabric in the front helps mask any printing from your firearm or even that food baby from brunch ;) This waterfall style Blank NYC jacket is perfect for appendix concealed carry as it helps to hide any mid-section bulk without inhibiting access to your firearm.

Whenever I talk to other firearms people in the industry and they hear I live in DC, I usually get a major eye roll, scoff, and a stern, "why"? It has nothing to do with what amazing things this city has to offer but more of what it doesn't...decent gun laws. They are getting better albeit at a snails pace but it's happening. One of the issues that my pro-2A friends think is ridiculous is our 10-round magazine limitation. Apparently to some of the politicos that make these decisions anything higher than 10-rounds is considered "high capacity."  Cue eye roll. DC isn't the only state with this magazine limitation but it does make purchasing a firearm a bit more tedious. Personally, for concealed carry I don't have an issue with only carrying 10-rounds. I can't imagine myself in a concealed carry situation where I need more than that. Honestly, as CCW carriers isn't' it our goal to NOT have to be forced to draw our weapon but we have it if we need it?! For the times when I think I might want to carry a spare mag this StealthGearUSA holster comes in handy. When I first saw this holster, I thought that it looked big and bulky. There was no way I could carry this without wearing one of my oversized sweaters. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how compact it wears. It did feel a bit heavier & weighted around my mid-section but it wasn't uncomfortable. It concealed nicely under my usual go-to top, a t-shirt. However, I wouldn't wear it with just t-shirt. There was subtle printing during certain movements that adding a extra layer like a cardigan, blazer, or light jacket would easily disguise.

Do you guys carry with a spare mag? If so, do you use a holster/magazine combo or carry each separately?
