Fabriclip with Alexo Athletica Leggings

I know I'm being a little unconventional using a physical holster in my Alexo Athletica pants considering they come with a built-in holster. It's totally not necessary as these leggings work perfectly without a kydex holster. I originally ordered this Blacksmith Tactical holster with a fabriclip because I wanted to try out the fabriclip with my wardrobe and see how it worked. I've seen a lot of ladies rocking the fabriclip in normal leggings and with other clothing items so I wanted to see if it would be a good addition to my holster collection. As I've always said ladies, it's about having options. Having a few go-to holsters to choose from that work with your wardrobe makes this concealed carry life that much easier. I mentioned in a previous post that I used a holster with these leggings when I was doing some training and I had a few questions about that. I love having these leggings as an option to wear to the range. However, if you plan on doing a lot of drills at the range it makes the training session easier when you have a tangible holster to use. While you don't need an actual holster for these leggings, a fabriclip is a good option if you wanted to get one. I slide the fabriclip in between the outer pocket and snap it in place. Because the leggings are reinforced around the waist, the firearm stays nice and secure against the body. I found wearing this holster with normal leggings (I'm looking at you Lululemon) doesn't work that well because the fabric around the waist is too weak and not made to support the weight of a firearm.

I also know a few people have asked about a trigger guard in these pants and while there isn't a hard trigger guard there are two layers of thick fabric in front of the built-in holster. You could easily slide your credit cards or ID into this pocket for a make-shift trigger guard or alternatively use a holster with a fabriclip. And if you do use a fabriclip you can still use the slip pocket to store your credit card and ID. Another great thing is that if you do want to use a holster like this, it allows you to carry your firearm in any spot on your waistband that you prefer. You aren't limited to the built-in holster position in the leggings. However, because of the reinforced waistband you don't have to worry about the weight of your firearm causing the waistband to droop. This can bring you some added piece of mind if you have any trigger guard concerns.
