Every year with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, their beauty department pulls out all the stops to create some very unique sets and deals. While I try not to go too crazy, there were a few things that I regularly use and needed to stock up on.
The NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm has been my go-to this summer for makeup and no-makeup days. I love that a little swipe adds just a tad of shimmer and color.
I figured I would take this opportunity to try out another color in their lineup. This set comes with two colors:
Orgasm (sheer peachy pink with golden shimmer)
Hidden Pleasure (rose mauve)
One thing to note about this set is that these are mini version sizes. I didn’t realize that when I originally ordered them.
What I love about these YSL “lipsticks” is that they aren’t actually lipsticks. These are like a hybrid lipstick combining a balm with a lipstick so they feel less heavy and are super moisturizing.
The outer part delivers gorgeous color and luminous shine, while the shaped center of the lipstick provides plumping and balm care. This set comes with the following colors:
Full-size Volupté Plump-in-Color Plumping Lip Balm in 3 Insane Pink (everyday nude)
Full-size Volupté Tint-in-Balm in 3 Call Me Rose (bubblegum pink)
Last year my hairdryer decided to die and my poor curling iron looks like it’s been through a war zone. I’ve been using T3 hair tools for at least the past 10 years. They really last a long time. I decided to upgrade my Target curling iron and now I’m trying to figure out why it took me so long. The T3 curling iron is awesome. It’s so easy to create the loose curls I love and it’s lightweight which is great.
I love that this one has five adjustable heat settings and an auto one-hour shut-off feature. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I left house thinking that I left my curling iron on.
I’ve been wanting a new eye shadow palette and the colors in this one are so pretty. I’ve heard great things about Charlotte Tilbury and figured this was a good time to try it out. I’ve already used this palette and I’m loving the neutral summery shades.
