Not Your Average Gun Girls is a lifestyle podcast hosted by yours truly and Amy Robbins of Alexo Athletica. We want this to be an extension of our mission and how we live our lives; self-reliant and stylish. We believe whole-heartedly that you don't have to sacrifice your style to be self-reliant and we want to encourage you to do the same. While we will be talking about guns and self-reliance we also want to keep it light and fun. We want you to feel like you are hanging out with us but also can leave with valuable information to apply to your daily lives whether it be concealed carry tips, newest beauty trends, or other lifestyle advice.
Let me first apologize for the lack of episodes. I feel bad, embarrassed, and annoyed that we haven't published one episode during the month of July, especially when they were recorded. While trying to be diplomatic in what I want to say, I also want to be real. I'm embarrassed that we are publishing episodes in August that we recorded in May - mainly because of the relevance of the content. Sadly, next week's episode will be similar in terms of timing. We are trying to get this working smoothly between all parties but that is proving to be more difficult than it really should be. So the podcast isn't going away but please bear with us as we try to work through some hurdles.
Making Congress 2A Friendly with Dianna Muller
In this week's episode, Amy and Emily catch up with Dianna Muller at the Hiperfire booth during the NRA Annual Meetings. Dianna fills us in on her competitive shooting and representing the USA. The girls talks through the importance of trigger control, getting to know your trigger, and training your trigger squeeze. Dianna also talks about the DC Project, a nonpartisan initiative she founded in 2015 to meet with State legislatures to share the faces and stories of 2A supporters.
