I've talked before about stepping out of  your comfort zone when it comes to introducing new pieces to wear and I've been continuing to that a lot more with my style.

Off the shoulder (OTS) tops, or really anything off the shoulder, has never been my cup-of-tea unless it's a bathing suit. It seems that I can't shop for clothes without seeing so many shirt options that are coming with some form of bare/cold shoulder detail. While I try to stay away from trends and keep with more classic styles, I do like to add a few pieces here and there to keep my wardrobe looking fresh and updated. Adding an on-trend piece is a great way to do that.

Since I'm not a big fan of OTS tops, finding this one with the two straps was a nice surprise. While it's predominately bare shoulders I feel the straps are a nice way to ease into going completely bare. The cool thing about this top is that the straps can be removed so you have some options. While I won't be running out and filling my closet with these style tops it's nice to change things up from a basic t-shirt.

What's your take on OTS tops? Do you love 'em, hate 'em or are like me and are indifferent?
