Ruffled Sleeves

As the weather here tries to make up its mind on whether it's fall or summer, it makes selecting what I'm wearing a bit annoying. Too many layers and then I'm sweating two hours into my day.  Too few and then I'm cold. I'm always cold by the way, old lady status kicking in nicely ;) Luckily, I have a closet full of light jackets and blazers to help with these transitional days.

And I recently just added this one to the mix. Isn't this Treasure & Bond bomber jacket so cute?! I mean, it was definitely love at first sight when I spotted it at The Mothership while in Seattle over the summer. It's a light satin/silk material and the lace and ruffle sleeve detail is just so darling. I do wish though that the wrist part of the sleeves had an elastic band (similar to the waist) so I can keep the sleeves pushed up. Nonetheless, it's cute. The additions of some pins helped to make it more personal.

This jacket also comes in a beautiful burgundy but you know I had go with the olive green which looks a bit more bronze in certain lights. I wish they made it in black though.  I totally would buy it especially since now it's at the rack for under $25 - such an insanely good deal. If you decide to make the purchase, I sized down. I would normally go with a medium but went with the small and you can see I still have some room.
