Safety Is Not An Afterthought with Leyla Pirnie

Ep 61 | Safety Is Not An Afterthought with Leyla Pirnie

Imagine you come home from a long weekend to find that your roommates have searched your room.  Not to steal anything but to find proof of your opposing political beliefs. Then they  demand that you move out.  This week Amy and Emily welcome to the show Harvard graduate student and investment associate, Leyla Pirnie. This exact scenario happened to her all because she didn’t share the same political views as her roommates. Hear her incredible story and how she handled her privacy being violated. The girls also discuss how to have a conversation with others who don’t agree with you politically. Leyla talks about what empowerment means to her and shares her advice for women who want to support the 2nd Amendment.
