Still Time for Leather Weather

Yup, I totally jumped the gun on this whole spring thing. Definitely not spring, definitely over it. I guess it’s okay because I get to wear my favorite leather jacket and not feel like my clothes are trying to suffocate me to death. It’s all about compromise even when dealing with mother nature. Thankfully, this time next week I’ll be lounging on the beach for some much needed rest and relaxation. So the cold can stay until I get back. It’s just been non-stop busy and chaotic with work. The work/life balance is non-existent. I’m sleep deprived, border line cranky but it is what it is for the time being. At least this past Saturday I was able to take a little bit of breather and go to a concert. I love live music, the bands are so loud (yes, I wear ear plugs) that I can’t hear myself think and sometimes that is needed.

So while I plow through the rest of this week, remember to find a way to take time for yourself. Find enjoyment in the little things. It’s not really exciting right now for me to get up and go to work but what I really look forward to is that first sip of coffee at my desk. I try to savor that quiet moment before the day starts and be grateful that I have job and in perspective things really aren’t that bad. So if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, take a deep breathe, take it one step at a time, and know I’m right there with you.
