Summer Tips for Concealed Carry

Daily Snaps | July 9, 2021

Are you taking these two key things into consideration when picking your top for concealed carry?

When shopping your own closet or for something new pay attention to fabric type and shirt style when finding a top to fit your carry lifestyle.

✨ Fabric Type - Not all fabric types are created equal. And when it comes to this time of year, when the heat and humidity makes everything uncomfortable you want to stick with natural fabrics like cotton, linen, and silk. They are breathable and will help you keep cooler.

These natural fabric types have their own type of structure to them that works well with concealed carry. Meaning they are the least likely of the fabrics to settle into the hard lines of your firearm. They each wear a little differently, and style also comes into play.

✨ Shirt Style - While I personally love a good solid tee, there are so many tops that come with cute details that can help you with concealed carry. Look for shirts that have ruffles, ruching, a peplum hem, a tie-knot front, some type of prints or patterns as all these little details distract the eye from any possible printing.

I go way in-depth on both these tips in my How To Guide for Dressing for Concealed Carry article. It’s a must read! It’s full of so many great tips you’re not going to want to miss.
