So far this summer has been about lightweight layers for me. I can't figure out if it's because our summer hasn't been as hot or if my perpetual coldness is kicking into high gear. It's probably the latter. I've found myself bringing a lightweight cardigan or long sleeve shirt when I leave the house because I need that extra layer. You know, similar to the thought process of carrying your firearm...better to not need it and have it than need it and not have it. For when it is hot, I stick to over-sized tanks that are comfy and breezy. In my pre-carry life, this was very typical and I'm glad to see that this style of outfit still works.
I mainly stick with two holster brands and switch back and forth depending on what I'm wearing. This Blacksmith Tactical holster with the fabriclip has been a nice alternative for when I don't want to wear a belt. I prefer it with my more fitted jeans/shorts as I've noticed with my boyfriend style jeans the firearm seems to be too top heavy and tends to tip outward. But with my more fitted jeans/shorts it helps keep it closer to my body.
